Caring for the elderly and disabled of our community since 1972

Dear Friend,

I am writing to you to respectfully request consideration of Senior Services of I. W. V. in your community involvement efforts.

Taking care of an aged or disabled grandparent, parent, or loved one is a way of repaying the love they gave us in our time of need, with love in their time of need. And we find not only these honored members of our families and community needing help, but their caregivers needing help as well. Senior Services of I.W.V., a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization (formerly known as Homemaker Service of I.W.V.), has worked in our community to help the elderly and the disabled and their caregivers for over 36 years. We help provide services such as nonĀ¬medical in-home care, adult day programs for seniors with memory challenges, a Caregiver Support Program with individual caregiver follow-up, a Senior Information and Referral service, and various other supportive and seasonal programs. These services, I'm sure you can see, meet vital needs of our senior and disabled clients and of their family caregivers as well. These services are our way of repaying them with love in their times of need. They are our way of realizing "Small Miracles."

We would like to engage and involve you in this cause, which is bigger than just one's personal life. As a friend of our organization and a partner in our collective cause, you can help us immeasurably in supporting our seniors when they need help the most. Your involvement with us can take on any expression that is best for you; it can be volunteering, providing sponsorship or leadership, providing technical support in various programs, or helping us reach out to the rest of the community and communicating our services or the needs of our clients. Or even just remembering our clients and our volunteers in your prayers. We welcome any support or involvement you can offer in joining us in our common cause for our seniors.

Your joining us as friends and associates in our support of the seniors and the disabled in our community will help immeasurably in our realizing the "Small Miracles" that will come out of our common efforts. Please call me at (760) 375-2352, or send me an e-mail note to
